Okay.
I am CONVINCED that somehow Stephanie Meyer is hypnotizing us all, or that her printers put crack in her book's pages!

I bought Twilight Thursday and I'm already over half done. I have to FORCE myself to put it down. Last night I cam home from work, took off my work clothes and decided to read 1 chapter before getting dressed and getting dinner.....

I "woke up" 2 HOURS LATER. And then, only because I was so hungry my stomach was literally cramping in pain!!!

Don't feel so bad. It's happened to the best of us. Besides, you have to read fast because you have New Moon and Eclipse to read before the 2nd, when Breaking Dawn comes out.

alot of people seem to like these books. what makes them so great to read? is it the way she writes, the characters, describes things, what? i'm just naturally curious.

gosh, i went through stuff like that when i was reading the harry potter books and fullmetal alchemist (mangas)! i would be short on sleep and sometimes stay up so late that i'd get the munchies! well, never cramps. sorry to hear that you got those!

It's a combination of all the things you mentioned along with plot, originality, fast pacing... The main character, Bella, is so easy to identify with. It makes it like I am living vicariously through her, which is the goal of any good book I suppose. And Edward. GUH. Just. GUH. I know he's a vampire and all but why can't guys like him exist?!?!

the twilight thing is part of a series and didn't a movie or something come out recently of the first book or something? i might check that out. the book or movie. well, at least sample it in a book store. well, if it has good plot and originality and pace, that's a good sign... so are all the twilights about vampires or are there other spn beings in there too? tought there was lycans in it or am i mistaken? don't know why it thought that! lol :p that thing you said about edward, it's almost like "why are all the good guys vampires?!" lmao XD gosh, remember angel from btvs? man, totally diggin' david on "bones". big muscles and looks so damn fine when he wears casual clothing like a tank... *sigh* lol :p

The movie comes out in Dec. And it is most EXCELLENT.
